F1 means first generation. An F1 Mini Bernedoodle is a hybrid breed and is 50% Bernese mountain dog and 50% Mini poodle. Mini Bernedoodles range in size between 30-45lbs. Their coats are wavy. An F1b Micro Bernedoodle is (25% Bernese, and 75% Poodle) and is the result of breeding a F1 Mini Bernedoodle to a Mini poodle. Micro's can have wavy or curly coats. Their coat colours vary between tri-colour, tri parti, or black and white parti. Full grown Micro bernedoodles range between 20-30lbs.

Yes, Bernedoodles are allergy friendly. No dog is 100% hypoallergenic, however since this is a cross with a poodle it greatly increases the hypoallergenic asset. As a rule of thumb the more curly the hair is the less it will shed and more hypoallergenic they will be. F1b bernedoodles are best suited for those with allergies.

A Bernedoodles life span is between 12-15 yrs.

Bernedoodles do require daily brushing and a visit to the groomers every 6-8 weeks. The first time going to a groomers should be after all vaccinations boosters are complete. We recommended to bath your puppy at home every couple of weeks to get them used to bath time.

For the safety of our puppies we do not allow in person visits until the puppies are ready to go home at 8 weeks of age. When it is time to pick your puppy we schedule a video chat, and provide you with all of the information you need to know from their temperament testing, and vet checks.
